Ensera Poland marks 20 years of cleanroom manufacturing and continued growth

[October 2, 2026] – Ensera’s European contract manufacturing hub in Wrocław, Poland has marked 20 years of medical device and pharmaceutical operations. The anniversary has been an opportunity to reflect back on two decades of significant expansion, and to look ahead to future growth ambitions.

Established in 2006 and strategically located in Central Europe for ease of market access, the facility has developed a reputation for agile, customized delivery for complex programs across multiple markets. Its enhanced cleanroom services span manufacturing, assembly, and packaging.

Over the past two decades, the facility has grown to more than 15,000 square meters, including over 2,300 square meters of ISO Class 7 and 8 and Grade B, C, and D cleanrooms, as well as an ISO 17025-accredited microbiology laboratory. Certified to both ISO 13485 and Pharma GMP, the site combines sterile medical device manufacturing and pharmaceutical product delivery expertise to execute a growing number of innovative combination drug-device programs.

A reputation for manufacturing excellence means the Poland site has been a blueprint for Ensera’s facilities in Malaysia and the US, established in 2008 and 2012, with consistent infrastructure and digital manufacturing systems making it easier to support customers looking for supply chain flexibility or to scale internationally.

The Poland team also work increasingly closely with Ensera’s design consultancy studios in the UK and US to support end-to-end development and smoother manufacturing transfer for product innovation.

20 years in business is a remarkable milestone and a moment to reflect with pride. Above all, it is a story of people, their commitment, ideas, and shared effort. For the 20th anniversary event, more than 450 team members and guests gathered at Wrocław’s largest arena for an evening of dinner and dancing. The event recognized the employees whose expertise and commitment have helped make Ensera Poland the successful CDMO site it is today, while celebrating the platform they have created for its continued growth.
