Ensera Design’s UK studio upholds EcoVadis gold award for sustainability for another year

We’re proud to share that our UK Ensera Design facility has succeeded in being awarded an EcoVadis gold award medal for another year running, with increased scores across all areas.

Intended to reflect the quality of the company’s sustainability management system and commitment to promoting transparency throughout the value chain, the EcoVadis gold medal places the Bristol-located Ensera Design business in the top 5% of assessed companies globally. Scores for Environment, Labor & Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement were all higher than the site’s previous assessment in May 2025.

Maintaining our gold rating demonstrates that we’re continuously advancing our environmental, social, and governance performance, as the EcoVadis threshold gets higher each year. For me, the most exciting part is that the award isn’t the end point, but a catalyst for action, keeping us accountable for improvements across both our own operations, and the work we do to support clients.

- Abby Hatch, Sustainability Lab Lead, Ensera Design UK

This latest medal follows on from the UK studio becoming the first Ensera site to commit to near-term, science-based emissions reduction targets through the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi). This formal commitment, now published publicly on the SBTi dashboard, aligns the team’s approach to carbon reduction with climate science and recognized global standards. It also introduces a clear framework of accountability and transparency for the targets they have submitted.

Our work carries an enormous responsibility in everything we do, including sustainability, which we treat as ongoing commitment rather than a destination.

Holding an EcoVadis gold medal and being placed in the top 5% of companies assessed worldwide is an achievement in itself, and that is exactly what our team at Ensera Design (Bristol) has done this year. They also became the first Ensera Group site to commit to science-based targets through SBTi.

Our team in Bristol reflects exactly the kind of ambition we want defining the Ensera Group. I am grateful for the progress they’ve made on behalf of the whole Group, and proud of what we’re building as one team across the globe.

- Marinela Cebic, VP - Global Regulatory Affairs and Quality Assurance
